It has been a while since I posted something and seeing that I basically am out of my own little hibernating season, I thought let’s do a share tips on TRANSITIONING from Winter to Spring. Today you will get to learn 4 ways to do exactly that. But remember, you have to own your personal style and use these tips as guidelines.

First up, Winter chunky knit or top with chiffon or lightweight skirt.

Before you pack up your chunky knit, try pairing it with light weight garments. Instead of wearing it with jeans, try it over a lightweight skirt or culottes. It’s comfortable and chic, and when paired with bold accessories and cute sandals, you’ve got yourself the perfect transitional outfit.

Show off those arms and be summer!

Okay so it’s not completely hot yet, BUT you can bring the heat by pairing the same bold colours together. Your flesh acts as the “neutral” colour so pull up those sleeves and be summer!

Give Winter the boot by pairing your favourite dress with a pair of boots.

There is no need to put your boots aside! Try wearing them with dresses and skirts. The longer the boot the shorter the dress because, you still got to keep warm right?!

Bring on the “boyfriend” blazer.

We’ve been wearing parkers and wind-breakers most days, so now try your boyfriend blazer as a jacket for a classic and easy transition layer. Pair it with a graphic t-shirt and skirt or some easy casual pants for a thrown together, yet sophisticated look.

BONUS TIP: Add some floral accessories to your look and see how that same look changes up in no time!
